Buying guide

A good choice starts here.

A stove is only the right choice when its output, flue and your home fit together. Start with a considered assessment.

  1. Understand your home

Room size, insulation and heating needs together determine suitable output. Have these assessed before selecting an appliance.

  2. Have the flue checked

Diameter alone is not enough. Discuss draught, air supply and the suitability of the existing flue with a qualified professional.

  3. Plan installation and use

Ask about local requirements for installation, commissioning and maintenance before choosing.

Frequently asked questions

How many kW do I need?

That depends on the room, insulation and heating needs. Do not choose from floor area alone; request an assessment of your situation.

Can I use an existing chimney?

Have it inspected for suitability with the chosen appliance first. Air supply and the connection must also be appropriate.

Are you already selling stoves?

The range is being prepared. Prices, availability, delivery and technical documentation will be published before ordering becomes available.

Your enquiry and personal data

The form sends your name, email address and message to this shop’s contact address. These details are needed to handle your enquiry; without contact details we cannot reply. Include only relevant information. Do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal data.

For enquiries about entering into a contract, we process the necessary data under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Other correspondence and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interests in answering questions and protecting the website (Article 6(1)(f)). The form does not subscribe you to advertising or newsletters. It does not perform profiling or automated decision-making.

Who receives your data?

Your message is processed by email. Staff handling your enquiry and service providers for website management, hosting, security and email may access the necessary data. The form does not create a separate submissions database. Hosting, email and backups may nevertheless contain data.

Retention and security

For correspondence, the handling and follow-up of your enquiry determine the retention period. Where a legal obligation or dispute requires further retention, that obligation or dispute determines the continuing need. This also applies to email copies; closing this webpage does not delete your message.

The form uses HTTPS, input validation and a spam trap. An IP reference hashed with a secret key limits repeat submissions for one minute. Hosting and security logs may contain your IP address, time and requested URL. Contact the privacy address for email, log and backup retention periods and information about any processing outside the EEA.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, erasure or restriction and, where applicable, portability of your data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw it without affecting the lawfulness of earlier processing. Include the shop name and your request in your email. We may request proportionate information to verify your identity.

Cookies and tracking

The public information pages do not use analytics or advertising tracking. WooCommerce traffic attribution is disabled. These pages therefore do not require consent for optional cookies, and we do not display an acceptance banner. Old sbjs_ attribution cookies are removed when you visit.

If optional tracking is introduced later, it must remain off until you specifically choose it, with equally simple rejection and withdrawal.
